demonstrate a reading competency at the tenth grade level or above
by one of the following methods:

score of 35 or higher* |
 | ACT Assessment Reading score of 14
or higher* |
 | SAT verbal score of 530 or higher*

 | Completion of ENG 091, Reading
Improvement II, with a grade of "C" or better |
 | Grade equivalency score of 10 or
higher as demonstrated by the Nelson Denny, TABE, or ABLE
tests* |
